TheF28461-1 Holdfast™ Graduated Cylinder is a large-capacity 1,000 mL (1 L) polypropylene graduated cylinder designed for accurate liquid measurement and safer, more controlled pouring. Its integrated handle provides a secure grip, making it considerably easier to handle a full 1-litre cylinder than a conventional tall graduated cylinder. The chemically resistant polypropylene construction is durable, lightweight, and suitable for demanding laboratory and field applications.
The F28461-1 features an easy-to-read double scale with raised 10 mL graduations and a hexagonal base that helps prevent tipping and rolling. Because polypropylene does not create the same meniscus as glass, liquid levels can be readily observed for routine measurements. The cylinder is also steam autoclavable at 121°C (250°F), making it suitable for repeated use in laboratories, aquaculture facilities, fisheries research, environmental monitoring, and water quality testing.
