The LaMotte 3304-02 Ammonia-Nitrogen Test Kit uses the salicylate method and an Octa-Slide 2 comparator to measure ammonia-nitrogen concentrations in freshwater, brackish water and saltwater. The reagents produce a blue colour that is matched against calibrated colour standards to determine the result. The kit provides approximately 50 tests, with a measurement range from 0 to 2.0 ppm NH₃-N.
