Their durable extruded wax construction provides significantly longer service life than traditional moulded crayons while resisting water, fading, smearing, and heat. Designed to write on wet or dry lumber as well as metal, concrete, stone, brick, and many other surfaces, these crayons are a dependable marking solution for forestry, construction, surveying, manufacturing, and field research. The standard 114 mm (4½") hexagonal design fits most lumber crayon holders, providing a secure grip and helping prevent breakage during heavy-duty use.
