A Black China Marker, also known as a grease pencil or chinagraph pencil, is a versatile wax-based marking pencil designed to write on virtually any porous or non-porous surface. Unlike conventional pencils, the marker features a paper-wrapped wax core with a pull string that allows the wrapper to be peeled away as the tip wears down—eliminating the need for sharpening. The wax formulation produces bold, opaque, moisture-resistant marks that can be easily removed from smooth, non-porous surfaces with a damp cloth or suitable cleaner.
