The Wildco® 1120-C42 is the Alpha™ Vertical Water Sampler Kit with a 2.2 L transparent acrylic bottle. This Van Dorn-style sampler is designed to collect representative water samples at a specific depth while suspended in a vertical orientation. Its wide-open mouth allows unrestricted water flow during descent, making it especially suitable for collecting water, plankton, and suspended sediments from lakes, reservoirs, rivers, estuaries, and marine environments.
• Blue seals of durable, flexible, high-grade polyurethane resin with attached safety line

2.2 Litre Capacity
Kit Includes SBK2 messenger, 62-C15 line (100 ft.) and Carrying Case
The body is made from transparent acrylic that allows you to view the bottle contents immediately. Alpha samplers are not suitable for chemical analysis of contents due to the potential for contamination (i.e. by mercury and phosphorus) by the materials in the sampler's construction. For chemical analysis, inquire about the Beta or suggested Kemmerer water samplers. This sampler requires a messenger and line (not included, except in kits) for operation. A thermometer can be mounted inside acrylic Alpha™ bottles.
