The Wildco® 1130-D42 is the Alpha™ Vertical Water Sampler Kit featuring a 3.2 L opaque PVC bottle. Designed for vertical, depth-specific water sampling, this Van Dorn-style sampler is ideal for collecting representative water samples, plankton, floating sediments, and suspended solids from lakes, reservoirs, rivers, estuaries, and marine environments. The complete kit includes the water sampler, messenger, sampling line, and carrying case. PVC construction provides excellent durability and impact resistance for demanding field conditions.

3.2 Litre Capacity
Kit Includes SBK2 messenger, 62-C15 line (100 ft.) and Carrying Case.
The PVC body is opaque, but is more durable and less expensive than acrylic. Alpha samplers are not suitable for chemical analysis of contents due to the potential for contamination (i.e. by mercury and phosphorus) by the materials in the sampler's construction. For chemical analysis, inquire about the Beta or suggested Kemmerer water samplers. This sampler requires a messenger and line for operation.
