Braided Polyester Line, 3/16", 100 Feet has less stretch than nylon line and lasts longer than twisted line. It is woven in such a way that fraying occurs only on the surface without material loss of strength; when the braided jacket becomes fuzzy, you know it’s time for a replacement. Stretches 5% or less and can be calibrated with indelible marker. For use with Ekman Grabs, and Alpha and Beta Water Samplers.

  • Material: Solid braided polyester

  • Maximum working load: 110 lb (50 kg)
  • Approximate breaking strength: 750 lb (340 kg)
  • Construction: Tight solid braid with minimal stretch, kink-resistant, easy to mark and splice.
