The Hach 1909-02 BOD Bottle is a 60 mL borosilicate glass bottle designed for biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and dissolved oxygen testing. The bottle has a 30 mL graduation mark, allowing the sample volume to be accurately controlled for applicable Hach testing procedures. It is supplied with a tapered ground-glass stopper designed to provide a secure water-tight closure while helping prevent air entrapment in dissolved oxygen samples.
The bottle incorporates a flared lip to help provide a good seal with the stopper and a frosted marking area for sample identification. It is used as replacement equipment for Hach dissolved oxygen test kits, including the OX-2P system and Hach Stream Survey kits.
