Hanna HI7004/1G is a high-quality pH 4.01 calibration buffer solution supplied in a 1 US gallon (3.78 L) bottle. It is formulated for accurate calibration of pH meters and electrodes and is particularly useful when testing samples expected to have a near-neutral pH. The solution is red colour-coded for easy identification and provides an accuracy of ±0.01 pH at 25°C.
Hanna prepares its calibration buffers using high-purity salts, deionized water, certified balances and Class A glassware under controlled conditions. The stated pH values are traceable to NIST Standard Reference Materials. Each bottle is supplied with a lot number, expiry date and temperature correlation information.
