The Hanna HI7061L General Purpose Cleaning Solution is specially formulated for cleaning pH and ORP electrodes and removing mineral deposits, residues, and other contaminants that can accumulate on electrode surfaces during normal use. Regular electrode cleaning helps maintain accurate measurements, reliable calibration, and consistent response.
Supplied in a 500 mL bottle, the HI7061L is suitable for routine electrode maintenance in laboratories, water-quality testing, environmental monitoring, aquaculture, wastewater treatment, and other applications using pH or ORP meters.
Hanna recommends periodically immersing a dirty electrode in the HI7061L cleaning solution for approximately 15–20 minutes. This helps dissolve mineral deposits and other coatings that can interfere with the electrode's sensing surface or clog the reference junction.
