The LaMotte 7297-DR-01 Carbon Dioxide Test Kit measures carbon dioxide (CO₂) in freshwater and saltwater using a direct-reading titrator. A standard alkali reagent is added to the water sample until the phenolphthalein endpoint is reached, allowing the carbon dioxide concentration to be read directly from the titrator. The kit measures 0–50 ppm CO₂ in 1 ppm increments and provides approximately 50 tests.
