The LaMotte® 1063 Plankton Net is a compact, educational plankton sampling net designed for collecting phytoplankton and zooplankton from lakes, ponds, rivers, estuaries, and coastal waters. Its lightweight, cone-shaped design and 153-micron nylon mesh make it well suited for classroom instruction, environmental monitoring, and introductory limnology and marine biology field studies.
- Made of fine-mesh nylon (153 micron)
- Permits the passage of water but filters out minute plankton
- 50mL graduated tube fastened securely to the end of the net to collect plankton
