The Indian Smokechaser 500FSV is a lightweight, collapsible backpack firefighting pump designed for applying water during wildland firefighting, initial attack, fire suppression and hot-spot control in areas where portable water delivery is required. The heavy-duty yellow vinyl tank collapses for convenient storage and transport, while the hand-operated brass piston pump provides a simple, dependable means of delivering water. The 500FSV features a large 4-inch filling opening, watertight cap and gasket, padded shoulder straps, and a 1/4-inch inside-diameter hose. The empty pump weighs approximately 4-1/2 lb.
