The Wildco 1220-E35 Kemmerer Water Sampler is a 2.2-litre stainless-steel water sampler supplied as the sampler only, without a carrying case, sampling line or messenger. It is designed to collect discrete water samples from a specific depth for limnological, environmental and general water-quality studies. The sampler is constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel and uses soft blue polyurethane seals for general-purpose sampling.

The Kemmerer design allows water to flow freely through the open sampler as it is lowered. At the desired sampling depth, a messenger activates the trip mechanism, causing the upper and lower seals to close and capture a representative water sample. Wildco notes that its All-Angle™ trip head is designed to close the sampler regardless of line angle, including in fast-flowing or turbulent water.
