This is a rugged, hand-held screening basket designed for field and laboratory separation of coarse soils, gravel, compost, sediment, and aggregate. The deep basket design allows larger sample volumes to be processed quickly while the coarse #4 (4.75 mm) stainless steel mesh efficiently removes rocks, roots, sticks, and other oversized material before finer screening. Can be used on the top of a wash bucket or a five gallon container.
