The Wildco 196-F30 Ekman Extension Handle is a lightweight 5 ft (1.5 m) extension handle designed for use with Wildco Standard and Tall Ekman Bottom Grabs during shallow-water sediment sampling. The handle securely attaches to compatible Ekman grabs using the supplied hardware, allowing researchers to manually position and operate the sampler without the need for a sampling line or messenger in shallow lakes, ponds, marshes, wetlands and stream margins.
It is ideal for benthic macroinvertebrate studies, limnology, fisheries research, environmental monitoring and aquatic ecology surveys where precise sampler placement is required in water that can be reached by hand. The handle is specifically designed for compatibility with the Wildco 196-B15 Standard Ekman Bottom Grab and 196-F65 Tall Ekman Bottom Grab.
