The LaMotte® 1087 Horizontal Water Sampler is a lightweight, messenger-operated sampler designed for collecting discrete water samples at specific depths in lakes, reservoirs, rivers, ponds, and coastal waters. The sampler remains open while being lowered, then is sealed by a weighted messenger released down a calibrated line, capturing an uncontaminated sample from the selected depth.
