The Pioneer 6697 Hi-Viz Orange Surveyor's Safety Vest is a durable, high-visibility work vest designed for surveyors, field engineers, construction superintendents, supervisors and utility workers. It is constructed from rugged 600-denier PU-coated Oxford polyester and features StarTech® reflective tape for enhanced visibility in demanding work environments.
The 6697 is designed with extensive storage for field equipment and includes 21 pockets, including chest and lower-front pockets, back storage pockets, a ruler pocket, pen slots, inner pockets and a radiophone pocket. It also features a radiophone clip strap and D-ring access slot, making it well suited to surveying and other field applications where tools, plans, communication equipment and personal items need to remain readily accessible.
The vest uses 4-inch silver/yellow StarTech reflective tape in a configuration designed to meet WorkSafe BC/DOT requirements. It meets CSA Z96-22 Class 2 Level 2 and ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 Class 2 Type P and R high-visibility standards. The PU-coated fabric is also water repellent for added suitability in outdoor field conditions.
