The LaMotte 0021 Professional Grade Kick Net is a 1 × 1 meter (3.3 × 3.3 ft) benthic macroinvertebrate sampling net designed for stream biomonitoring and aquatic ecology studies. It is specifically designed to meet the requirements of the U.S. EPA Rapid Bioassessment Protocols (RBP) for collecting aquatic insects and other benthic organisms from streams and rivers.

- 500-micron mesh effectively captures aquatic macroinvertebrates such as mayflies, stoneflies, caddisflies, midges, and other benthic organisms.
- Large 1 × 1 m sampling area provides standardized sampling for biological assessments.
- Heavy-duty white mesh offers excellent visibility of collected specimens.
- Side and bottom sleeves accept support poles for a rigid sampling frame.
- The bottom sleeve can accommodate a chain (not included) to keep the net firmly on the streambed during sampling.
