The LaMotte 1064-G Sounding Lead & Calibrated Line is a complete depth measurement and sampling line designed for limnology, environmental monitoring, aquaculture, fisheries, and water quality studies. It includes a 20-meter heavy-duty calibrated nylon line with a 2 lb (0.9 kg) lead sounding weight, making it ideal for deploying Secchi disks, plankton nets, water samplers, and bottom sampling equipment to known depths. The line is permanently marked at one-meter intervals and is wound on an Ethafoam® float, which doubles as a storage reel and flotation device to help prevent accidental loss.
