The Wildco 2425-E12 Extension Handle is a 5-foot galvanized steel extension handle designed for use with the Wildco Hand Corer. It allows sediment cores to be collected from greater depths below the water surface where the standard hand-core handle cannot reach. The extension handle connects to the hand-corer head in place of the clevis and includes the required adapter.
The 2425-E12 is part of Wildco's modular hand-corer system, which uses interchangeable components to configure the sampler for different sampling depths and applications. Additional extension sections are available in 10-foot and 15-foot lengths, allowing the corer to be adapted to different water depths.
