The Hach 24398-02 Dissolved Oxygen Reagent Set is a complete replacement reagent set for the Hach OX-2P Dissolved Oxygen Test Kit (1469-00). It is designed for determining dissolved oxygen in water using drop-count titration with the modified Winkler method. The set is intended for 60 mL water samples and provides reagents for approximately 100 tests.
The reagent set contains Dissolved Oxygen 1, Dissolved Oxygen 2 and Dissolved Oxygen 3 pre-measured reagent powder pillows, together with 0.0109 N stabilized sodium thiosulfate standard solution. The pre-measured reagents simplify field testing by eliminating the need to prepare individual reagents before each analysis. Hach specifies measurement ranges of approximately 0.2–4 mg/L and 1–20 mg/L dissolved oxygen, depending on the procedure used.
For fisheries, aquaculture and environmental monitoring, this reagent set provides a convenient way to maintain an existing OX-2P dissolved oxygen test kit without purchasing a complete new kit.
