The Hach 1469-00 Dissolved Oxygen Test Kit, Model OX-2P, is a portable water-quality testing kit designed for measuring dissolved oxygen (DO) using the modified Winkler method with drop-count titration. It provides a simple, economical method for determining dissolved oxygen concentrations in surface water, aquaculture systems, fish hatcheries, wastewater and other aquatic environments. Hach specifies measurement ranges of 0.2–4.0 mg/L and 1–20 mg/L O₂ and a capacity of approximately 100 tests.
The OX-2P uses pre-measured reagent powder pillows and a stabilized sodium thiosulfate titrant, eliminating the need to prepare the primary reagents before testing. The kit is supplied in a hard-shell carrying case, making it particularly suitable for field sampling and fisheries surveys.
