The Wildco® 1120-G45 is a 2.2 L Alpha™ Horizontal Water Sampler with a transparent acrylic body. Unlike the 1120-G42 kit version, the 1120-G45 is the sampler only and does not include the messenger, calibrated sampling line, carrying case, or other accessories. It is intended for collecting representative water samples at a specific depth in lakes, reservoirs, rivers, estuaries, and marine environments. The horizontal (Van Dorn-style) configuration is particularly suited for sampling at the thermocline, other stratified water layers, or just above bottom sediments.

• Blue seals of durable, flexible, high-grade polyurethane resin with attached safety line

• Not suitable for chemical sampling

2.2 Litre Capacity 

SBK2 messenger & 62-C15 line (100 ft.) are sold separately.

The clear acrylic body allows you to view the bottle contents immediately. Alpha samplers are not suitable for chemical analysis of contents due to the potential for contamination (i.e. by mercury and phosphorus) by the materials in the sampler's construction. For chemical analysis, inquire about the Beta or suggested Kemmerer water samplers. This sampler requires a messenger and line (not included, except in kits) for operation. A thermometer can be mounted inside acrylic Alpha™ bottles.
