The F28461-2 Holdfast™ Graduated Cylinder is a large-capacity 2,000 mL (2 L) polypropylene graduated cylinder designed for accurate liquid measurement and safer, more controlled pouring. Its integrated handle provides a secure grip when handling the tall cylinder, particularly when it is filled to capacity. The durable polypropylene construction is chemically resistant, lightweight, and suitable for demanding laboratory, water-quality, aquaculture, and field applications.
The F28461-2 features an easy-to-read double metric scale with raised 20 mL graduations and a stable hexagonal base that helps prevent tipping and rolling. The polypropylene construction does not create the same meniscus as glass, helping make liquid-level readings easier to interpret. The cylinder is also steam autoclavable at 121°C (250°F).
