Braided Polyester Line, 3/16", 100 Metres

Braided Polyester Line, 3/16", 100 Metres, has less stretch than nylon line and lasts longer than twisted line. It is woven in such a way that fraying occurs only on the surface without material loss of strength; when the braided jacket becomes fuzzy, you know it’s time for a replacement. Stretches 5% or less and can be calibrated with indelible marker.
For use with Ekman Grabs, and Alpha and Beta Water Samplers.

  • Solid braided construction with no center filler
  • Minimal stretch for accurate sampling depth
  • Will not kink or untwist
  • Easy to grip, splice, and mark with an indelible marker for depth measurements
  • Suitable for freshwater and marine field use
