The Floy T-Bar Anchor Fish Tags are professional-quality external fish identification tags designed for long-term marking of freshwater and marine fish. Widely used by fisheries biologists, hatcheries, aquaculture facilities and government agencies, tfeatures a durable T-bar anchor attached to a high-strength monofilament leader with a coloured polyolefin identification tube. The printed identification is protected by Shrink-Lock™ clear polyolefin tubing, providing exceptional resistance to abrasion, UV exposure and prolonged immersion while maintaining excellent legibility throughout long-term studies. 

The current industry-standard Floy anchor tag for mark-recapture studies, stock assessment, migration monitoring and hatchery evaluation programmes. The tag is inserted beneath the dorsal fin using a compatible Mark III tagging gun, where the T-bar anchor is retained securely within the musculature while the printed streamer remains visible for easy identification. Total Tag Length is 5.5 cm
