The CTB1010P Economy Graduated Cylinder is a durable, lightweight 10 mL measuring cylinder made from polymethylpentene (PMP). It provides a practical alternative to glass for routine laboratory and field liquid measurements. The translucent, break-resistant construction is chemically resistant and non-wetting, while moulded graduations remain permanently legible and will not rub off with normal use.
The cylinder features a reinforced, ribbed rounded base for improved stability and a generous pouring spout for controlled liquid transfer. Its non-wetting surface eliminates the meniscus that can make readings more difficult with glass cylinders. The cylinder is calibrated To Contain (TC) and To Deliver (TD) at 20°C, and the PMP material provides temperature resistance up to approximately 135°C (275°F).
