The Hanna HI701 Free Chlorine Checker® HC is a compact handheld colorimeter designed for quick and accurate measurement of free chlorine in freshwater. It provides a digital reading, eliminating the need to visually interpret colour changes from traditional chlorine test kits. The HI701 uses an adaptation of USEPA Method 330.5 and the DPD method, with the reaction producing a pink colour that is measured electronically by the instrument.
With a measuring range of 0.00 to 2.50 ppm (mg/L) and a resolution of 0.01 ppm, the HI701 is well suited to routine water quality monitoring. Its one-button operation, compact size and simple testing procedure make it useful for field technicians, environmental professionals, aquaculture facilities, laboratories, pools and spas.
