The Hanna HI7010/1G pH 10.01 Calibration Solution is a high-quality alkaline calibration buffer designed for accurate calibration and verification of pH meters and electrodes. Supplied in a 1 gallon (3.78 L) bottle, it is well suited to laboratories, water treatment facilities, aquaculture operations, environmental testing and other applications requiring frequent pH calibration. Hanna specifies an accuracy of ±0.01 pH at 25°C.
The solution is violet colour-coded for quick identification and is supplied in an airtight bottle with a tamper-proof seal. Each bottle is marked with a lot number and expiry date, while a temperature correlation chart is printed on the bottle to help account for changes in buffer pH with temperature. Hanna states that the buffer is prepared using high-purity salts and deionized water, with values traceable to NIST Standard Reference Materials
