Haemacytometer, Improved Neubauer
Product Code: 1001
The Improved Neubauer Haemacytometer is a precision glass counting chamber used with a microscope to determine the concentration of cells, microorganisms, algae, sperm, and other suspended particles in a liquid sample. The chamber incorporates a permanently engraved counting grid and a calibrated chamber depth of 0.1 mm, allowing a precisely known sample volume to be counted. The Improved Neubauer pattern consists of a 3 × 3 mm ruled area divided into nine 1 mm² squares, with specialized subdivisions in the corner and central squares for different counting applications. It is widely used in biological, medical, veterinary, aquaculture, environmental, and research laboratories.
