The J8 Replacement Top Screen is the replacement screen for the J30 Egg Hatching Jar Manufactured from durable, corrosion-resistant plastic mesh, the J8 features a 1,000-micron mesh designed to prevent fish eggs from escaping the incubator while maintaining unrestricted water flow and excellent oxygen exchange throughout the incubation period. 

During incubation, the J8 screen securely retains eggs within the J30 hatching jar while allowing continuous water circulation. Once the fry hatch and become free-swimming, the screen is simply removed to allow them to exit the jar naturally into the receiving tank, reducing handling stress and improving survival. The J8 is suitable for incubating trout, salmon, steelhead, hybrid striped bass, catfish, tilapia and many other freshwater species when used with the J30 Hatching Jar
