The LaMotte 1087 Horizontal Water Sampler is designed to collect water samples from a specific depth in lakes, ponds, reservoirs and other aquatic environments. Its clear acrylic collection tube holds approximately 1,200 mL, allowing the sample to be visually inspected before dispensing. A 20 m calibrated line, marked at 1 m intervals, helps position the sampler at the desired depth. A weighted messenger activates the closing mechanism, sealing the sample inside as the sampler is retrieved. Suitable for freshwater, brackish water and saltwater sampling.
