The Wildco Hess Front Screen is a replacement front screen for the Wildco Hess Stream Sampler, fitted with Nitex® mesh. It is designed to retain and collect benthic macroinvertebrates from flowing streams while allowing water and fine sediment to pass through. The mesh provides a relatively fine sampling size for quantitative benthic invertebrate studies and stream ecology surveys. Wildco's Hess sampler range includes replacement front screens and complete samplers in several mesh sizes.
